California University

The State of California runs two separate 4-year university systems: There is also a California University of Pennsylvania in the town of California, Pennsylvania. "California University Press" is an imprint of the University of California Press. "California University" has also been used as the name of several fictional institutions, including those featured on television shows such as Beverly Hills 90210 and Saved by the Bell: The College Years. The film Legally Blonde is partly set at the fictitious "California University-Los Angeles."
