Calderstones Park
Calderstones Park
is in the east of
Liverpool
,
England
. It was acquired in
1902
from the McIver family at a cost of 43,000, by
Liverpool City Council
and developed as a
horticultural
park. The
Calderstones
themselves are a collection of carved stones thought to be
neolithic
origin. Since
1964
the six stones have been in the
Harthill Greenhouse
.
