Cable One

Cable One is a United States cable service provider that is a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company. Cable One provides cable service to primarily non-urban, small communities in 19 states in the midwestern, southern, and western US. As of July 2004, about 720,000 subscribers receive basic service and about 300,000 are signed up for premium programming. The company offers digital cable and its broadband Internet unit, known as CableONE.net, provides access to about 135,000 subscribers. Cable One has swapped its California cable systems and customers with operations in Oregon and Utah belonging to the #1 US cable operator Comcast.
