C.j. Klaas

Craig "C.J." Klaas (born August 23, 1983 in Rockford, Illinois) is an American soccer defensive midfielder, who currently plays for the Seattle Sounders of the USL First Division. Klaas played college soccer for the University of Washington from 2001 to 2004, starting every game he played in during his four years. He was named a first team All-American in his junior and senior seasons. Klaas finished his career at Washington having played in 69 games, scoring ten goals and 21 assists. He was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes in the third round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, but opted to not show up for camp, instead signing with the nearby Sounders. Klass has played for various youth United States national teams, and was part of the U-20 squad for the 2003 World Youth Championship in the UAE. Klaas, C.J. Klaas, C.J.
