C.d. Payne

C.D. Payne is an American author of absurdist fiction who is best known for his series of novels about fictional teenager Nick Twisp. They are called the "Youth in Revolt" series and are:
In the novels the protaginist, Nick, strives to balance out his budding sexual urges while remaining an intellectual teenager in a world of moronic adults. He has also written the novel Civic Beauties a parody of beauty pageants which was the basis for the film Drop Dead Gorgeous.
