Butler's Rangers

Butler's Rangers was a Tory or Loyalist irregular unit in the British Army during the American Revolutionary War. They were organized and led by John Butler. Nominally a Canadian unit, many members were Tories from upstate New York, and they fought in western New York and Pennsylvania. There is also a modern group of reenactors representing Butler's Rangers.
