Bush Tucker

Bush Tucker is a colloquial Australian term for any food native to Australia and eaten before European colonisation. The most identifiable (and probably only) plant used in commercial quantities is the Macadamia nut. Other plants are the quandong (Santalum acuminatum) and Mountain or Tasmanian Pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata). See also Bush Tucker Man.
