Bunki

Bunki (文亀) was a Japanese era after Meiō and before Eishō and spanned from 1501 to 1504. The reigning emperor was Go-Kashiwabara.

Change of Era

To mark the enthronement of Go-Kashiwabara and the 58th year of the Chinese zodiac, on Meiō 10, 2nd month, 29th day (1501), the era was changed to Bunki.
