Bunch, Oklahoma

Bunch, Oklahoma is a small, unincorporated village in southwestern Adair County. It was named after a Cherokee vice-chief named Rabbit Bunch who lived in the area in the 1880's. Sitting in the Sallisaw Creek Valley, Bunch is bisected by the Kansas City Southern Railroad which was built in the 1890s. As of 2005, there are two churches and a car garage in town. A K-12 school named Cave Springs serves Bunch. It is 2 1/2 miles north of town.
