buckshot lefonque

A project by Branford Marsalis. After playing with Sting and Miles, he founded this band to create a new sound by merging classical jazz sound with rock, R&B and hip-hop influences. Two releases:

Music Evolution (1997)

Especially the second release (Music Evolution) displays a very broad musical picture, this is probaly the reason why it wasn't a commercial success. VH1 Biography Biography
