Bs2000

BS2000 is an operating system from Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme for mainframes. Ports of Apache and PHP have been made to it. It is an EBCDIC-based operating system. One database available for it is SESAM, for which a PHP 3 extension exists (http://www.php.net/sesam)
   

   
BS2000 is also the name of a musical side project by Adam "Adrock" Horowitz and Amery "AWOL" Smith. In 1997 BS2000 released, on vinyl only, "Nobody Beats BS2000". BS2000 later released a limited-edition vinyl/CD, Buddy, in 2000 and "Simply Mortified" on vinyl and CD in 2001. A full discography for BS2000 is available from Beastiemania.com.
