Bryan Gould

Bryan Gould (born February 11, 1939) is a former politician in the United Kingdom, but was born in New Zealand. He was Labour MP for Dagenham until his resignation on May 17, 1994. He was member of Neil Kinnock's Shadow Cabinet, but was defeated in the Labour leadership election that took place after the 1992 election. He subsequently resigned from John Smith's shadow cabinet, in a dispute about Europe, and left British politics. He was a Rhodes Scholar, attending Balliol College, Oxford.
