Bruce Mowat

Bruce Farley Mowat (born Oct.10th, 1960, Brantford Ontario) This acerbic Canadian music journalist, broadcaster, and archivist has written for the Globe & Mail, Canadian Press, Toronto Eye Weekly, The Hamilton Spectator (1992-1999), In Music We Trust (U.S.) , Black To Comm (U.S.)and currently (as of 2005) The Hamilton Sun. He is best known for releasing Cyborgs Revisited, a posthumous collection of recordings by Hamilton, Ontario's Simply Saucer in 1989 on his own Mole label. He has written liner notes for various recordings, including The Flamin Groovies, the 22 original Hits! 22 Original Stars CD compilation, and the 1993 Cows Go Mu compilation CD. Voted into the CFMU-FM (McMaster University radio station) Volunteer Hall of Fame in 1999, Mowat's internet radio show, the e-Mole Radio Hour, can be found at www.creativeradiocentral.com/
