Brooklyn Botanic Gardens

Founded in 1910, The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens occupy 39 acres of the northeastern edge of Prospect Park in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City (USA). Recognized as one of the finest gardens of its kind in the country, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are one of two major botanical gardens in NYC (the other being the New York Botanical Garden in the borough of the Bronx). In the Spring of 2005, the gardens will be completing one the largest renovation projects in its history.
