British 2Nd Infantry Division

The British 2nd Infantry Division fought in Burma against the Japanese during World War II. See British 2nd Division (World War I) for the division's World War I history. The current role of the division is the defence of the north of the United Kingdom. The division is currently headquartered at Edinburgh, Scotland and is made up of four brigades.
