Brignoles

Brignoles is a town and commune of southeastern France, in the Var dpartement, of which it is a sous-prfecture. Population 11,000. It was the summer residence of the counts of Provence. Their castle dates from the 13th century. It was the birthplace of Saint Louis of Toulouse (1274-1297).
