Bridge Of Sighs (Oxford)

Hertford Bridge is often referred to as the Bridge of Sighs because of its similarity to the famous bridge in Venice, although many believe it looks like the Rialto Bridge. The bridge is not generally known as the Bridge of Sighs by members of the college, but simply as 'the bridge'. The bridge, and much of the current architecture of Hertford College, Oxford, was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson.
