Brg (Crater)Bürg is a prominent lunar impact crater in the northeast part of the Moon. It lies within the lava-flooded, ruined crater formation designated Lacus Mortis. To the south and southeast is the crater pair Plana-Mason. To the west beyond the rim of Lacus Mortis is the prominent Eudoxus crater. The rim of Bürg is nearly circular with relatively little wear. The interior is bowl-shaped, and there is a large central mountain at the mid-point. To the west is a rille system designated the Rimae Bürg, which spans a distance of about 100 kilometers. Satellite craters By convention these features are identified on Lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Bürg crater. | idth="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Latitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Longitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Diameter | | lign="center"|A | align="center"|46.8° N | align="center"|33.1° E | align="center"|12 km | | lign="center"|B | align="center"|42.6° N | align="center"|23.5° E | align="center"|6 km |
