Bratislava's Town Hall

Bratislava's Town hall is one of the oldest stone buildings in Bratislava. It has a colorful tile roof. It was originally a Gothic style house built in the 14th century, and is situated on the Main Square near the Maximilian's (Roland's) Fountain - the oldest fountain in the city (1572). The town hall has a cannonball in the side of it, which is said to have been fired by Napoleon's army. It has been used as the Town Hall since the 15th century.
