boxed rice productions

Boxed Rice Productions, also known by the acronym BRP is a cosplay performance group based in Toronto (and surrounding areas), Ontario, Canada. The group's founder and current head is Johnny Ngo, who has lead the group to several wins in different performance categories over the years. Originally founded in 2001, the group's lifespan has seen changes in membership, a variety of performance methods, and a general adherence to humour. The group is also known for its collaborations with other performance bodies related to cosplay. Its first major project was "The Showdown", which pitted Boxed Rice Productions and the group IDJIT, as well as friends, against one another in a dance-off to the song "It's Like That" by Run DMC at Anime North 2003's Skit Contest.
