Bowling Ball

A bowling ball is a round object, made of urethane, which is used in the sport of bowling. Normal regulation balls can weigh anywhere from 7 to 15 pounds. All bowling balls have a set of three holes carved in them, two for the index finger and middle finger, and one for the thumb. Most bowling alleys provide free balls to patrons, although avid bowlers may purchase their own. These are often customized, with specially sized finger holes and monograms. Many bowling balls feature novelty features, such as objects imbedded in the center.
