BorthBorth is a small Welsh village about 7 miles north of Aberystwyth in the county of Ceredigion. It has a fine sandy beach, making it a popular holiday resort. There is a railway station on the Aberystwyth - Shrewsbury Cambrian Line, giving easy access from the Midlands. Inland is Cors Fochno (Borth Bog), of considerable ecological interest. Despite its somewhat ramshackle appearance, this is a lovely place for a holiday. The Friendship Inn gives a warm welcome to travellers and the views across Cardigan Bay are stunning.
