Borden Island

Borden Island is an uninhabited, low-lying island in the Queen Elizabeth Islands of northern Canada with an area of 2795 square kilometres. It lies north of Mackenzie King Island and is similarly split between Northwest Territories and Nunavut. First reached by Europeans in 1916, it is sometimes described as two islands joined by ice, but is generally depicted as a single landmass.
