Bomb Tower

A bomb tower is a usually guyed construction with a height of 30 to 210 meters for the accommodation of an atom bomb for an aboveground atomic bomb test. The bomb tower has the task the atom bomb for the purpose of the investigation of its destructive effects (on burst height and distance with given explosive yield to depend) and for the adjustment of measuring instruments to hold like high-speed cameras in an accurately defined position.
