Bokrug

Bokrug, the Great Water Lizard, is a fictional deity, a Great Old One in H.P. Lovecraft's short story "The Doom That Came To Sarnath" from his Dream Cycle. He, or more properly, it, is a god among the semi-amphibian Thuum'ha of Ib in the land of Mnar. When the humans of Sarnath cruelly slaughtered the entire city, it awakened the entity, who slumbered beneath the calm waters of the lake the two cities bordered, and as prophecised, spelled doom for Sarnath. Afterwards, the amphibious group of Thuum'ha recolonised Ib and lived afterwards undisturbed.
