Bojonegoro

Bojonegoro is a small town in Indonesia, about 110 kilometer east of Surabaya, capital of East Java province. Bojonegoro was founded 20 October, 1677 with Mas Toemapel as their first regent. 20 October is now commemorated as the birthday of Bojonegoro. Bojonegoro Regency is 230.706 acre wide with a population of 1.176.386 people. The eastern border of Bojonegoro is Lamongan Regency, in the west is Ngawi and Blora (Central Java) Regency, in the north is Tuban Regency while in the south is Madiun, Nganjuk and Jombang Regency. Bojonegoro is famous for tobacco and hardwood tree (jati) production.
