Bobst BoyBobst Boy is the nickname of Steve Stanzak, a New York University student who spent eight months living in the basement of the school's Bobst Library from September 2003 to April 2004. Before becoming a Bobst Library resident, Stanzak was an ordinary student living off loans and part-time jobs. In September 2003, he found he was unable to get a private loan to supplement his N.Y.U. scholarship, he decided to sleep in the library to save money and to provide him a rich experience for his writing.
