Bob Guiney

Robert (Bob) Guiney (born May 8, 1971) was a contestant on the first season of The Bachelorette. Later, he was chosen to pick his own perfect lady on the fourth season of The Bachelor. He was born in Riverview, Michigan and was a graduate of Michigan State University, where he played quarterback for their football team. Bob was shown to have a winning personality on The Bachelorette, so when Trista failed to give him a rose to advance, ABC executives decided that Bob should be the Bachelor that next season. On the fourth season of the reality show, in the fall of 2003, Bob wooed 25 girls, and eventually picked Estella Gardinier in the show's finale. Soon after the show aired, they broke up. While making the rounds on the talk-show circuit, he told the audience that he was a budding musician and that a studio album was in the works. Late in 2003, Bob's debut album, 3 Sides, first hit music stores. In May of 2004, Bob got engaged to All My Children star Rebecca Budig, who hosted The Bachelor in reruns on ABC Family. The couple married on July 3, 2004. Guiney, Bob
