Bo Akademi University

The bo Akademi University is a Swedish language university, founded in 1918 in Turku (bo in Swedish), Finland. It is one of three universities in the city, alongside the University of Turku and the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration. There are 7950 students and a staff of 1229 people (as of 2003). The Pedagogical Faculty is located in Vaasa. The university should not be confused with the Academy of bo, which was founded in Turku in 1640, and is today known as the University of Helsinki.
