local: local: October 27, 1904 Bleecker Street is a local station, located at Lafayette Street and Bleecker Street, with two side platforms and express tracks in the middle. The platforms are offset by about 3/4 of their length; there is no crossover or crossunder. The station features typical mosaics with two styles of small "Bleecker Street" mosaics made by the Grueby Faience Company in 1904. There is a closed exit gate on the southbound side across from the northbound fare control; fare control is at platform level. A transfer to the Sixth Avenue Line is at the south end of the southbound platform only; future renovation will provide a transfer for the northbound side.
