Black (Band)

Black, is the musical vehicle for singer/songwriter Colin Vearncombe (b. Liverpool, England 1962). First recording release 1981 (Human Features, Rox Records). Achieved international commercial success in 1986 with single and album "Wonderful Life" (A&M). Subsequently sold over two million records worldwide ("Comedy" 1988, "Black" 1991). Formed independent label, Nero Schwarz and released a string of critically acclaimed recordings during the period 1992 - 2003 under his real name. A new recording by Black, entitled "Two Churches" is to be released mid 2005. See official site
