Bishop Of Menevia

The Bishop of Menevia is the Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Menevia in the Province of Cardiff. The diocese covers an area of 9,716 km² of The City and County of Swansea, the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot, the Counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire and the Borough of Brecknock and the District of Radnor in the County of Powys. The see is in the City of Swansea where the seat is located at the Cathedral Church of Saint Joseph. The Vicariate Apostolic of Wales was elevated to diocese status on 12 May 1898. The current bishop is the Right Reverend John Mark Jabal, OSB, the 10th Bishop of Menevia.
