Bisermn

Bisermn, group of Udmurt people. There was 100.000 Bisermn in 1926, but they wasnt counted later. Lives in Yukamen, Glazov, Balezino and Yar Districts of Udmurtia. There is 10 villages with pure Bisermn and 41 villages with mixed Bisermn population in Russia. Speaks tatarificated dialect of Udmurt language. Migrated to banks of Cheptsa river (Vyatka's tributary) at the epoch of Kazan Khanate. Their ancestors are Finno-Ugric tribes of Volga Bulgaria, partly tatarificated and converted to Islam. After the conquering of Kazan in 1552 was converted to Christ by Ivan Grozny.
