For the game, see Billiards In long scale usage: one billiard = 1,000,000,000,000,000 = 1015 = one short scale quadrillion. This word is not found, with the meaning of a number, in standard English dictionaries. In Britain, Ireland, and Australia, the word "billiard" has been largely replaced by either the long scale usage of "thousand billion" or the short scale usage of "quadrillion".
