Bill Rancic

William "Bill" Rancic of Chicago, Illinois was the winner of the first season of Donald Trump's The Apprentice. After Trump said the words "Bill You're Hired", he had three minutes to decide which of Trump's companies he wanted to run. Rancic selected to take charge of the construction of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in his native Chicago, Illinois, on the site of the present Chicago Sun-Times Building. The other option he had was to oversee and manage a new Trump National Golf Course and resort in Los Angeles, California. Ranic dumped his girlfriend and started dating the former bachelorette (ex-fiance of Andrew Bridgestone)

Education

Rancic graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago.

Business background

In 1996 Rancic founded cigarsaroundtheworld.com in a modest 400sq ft studio apartment, growing it into the multi million dollar US wide operation that it is today. He is also involved in real estate development and speaks at colleges throughout the United States.
