The official description of the outfit is a "jazz skiffle vaudeville" band. There is a heavy emphasis on comedy, featuring many bizarre props, including a cardboard biplane, a threadbare busby, extensible hands, a magic stick, and the petrified head of a whippet. The line up lately has featured (amongst others)

Rodney Slater - (baritone sax and clarinet)
Sam Spoons - (percussion)
Biff Harrison - (accordion, banjo)
Evil John Gieves Watson - (banjo, tap-dance, hoover)
the Very Reverend Michael 'Megs' Etherington - (cornet, teapot)
Jim Chambers - (alto & soprano saxophone, clarinet, ocarina)
Mel Robinson (Ezra Pound-Notes) - (piano, oratory)
Richard White - (piano, ventriloquism)

As of April 2005 the band were still together and going strong. Regular gigs include: *First Thursday of every month at the Bull's Head in Barnes, London UK.
