BidduBiddu, a music producer, worked with popular English-language disco and funk artists like Tina Charles ("I Love to Love", 1976) and Carl Douglas ("Kung Fu Fighting", 1974) during the 1970s. He also released largely instrumental tracks under the name Biddu Orchestra and these included a rendition of "I Could Have Danced All Night" from "The King and I" and a remake of Neil Diamond's "Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon". In the 1980s, Biddu embarked on several Hindi pop album projects for Indian and Pakistani artists. His song production credits include "Aap jaisa koi" by Nazia Hassan (1980), "Disco Deewane" by Nazia Hassan and Zoheb Hassan (1980), "Star" by Zoheb Hassan (1982), and "Boom Boom" by Nazia Hassan (1982). These film soundtrack songs helped to ignite a disco boom in India. He also created the songs on the Hassan siblings' next two albums, "Young Tarang" (1984) and "Hotline" (1987). In 1995, Biddu produced Alisha Chinoy's dance album "Made in India".
