beverly hills supper club fire

Beverly Hills Supper Club Fire occurred at the Beverly Hills Supper Club, located in Southgate, Kentucky. It was first opened in 1971 and was a popular attraction. Around 9 p.m. on the night of May 28, 1977, a fire erupted. It quickly spread, killing 165 people. The high number of killed is blamed on a variety of reasons, including faulty wiring, toxic materials and over-crowding. It was believed several thousand people were in the club the night of the fire.
