Beth

Beth, ב, is the second letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
Beth is a popular musician in Spain. She was born in Barcelona on December 23, 1981 and spent her childhood in Suria, a town near Barcelona. Her desire to discover the world and learn about other cultures has taken her on several trips abroad, including to Africa where she participated in a humanitarian aid programme. She also lived in the United Kingdom for a few months after completing her studies. Now back in Spain, she shares an apartment with her cousin in Barcelona, where she combines her work as a singer with studies in musical theatre. In 2003 she competed in the musical talent show Operacin Triunfo. She finished as runner-up, but in a separate vote was selected by the audience to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Her entry, "Dime", was a huge success in the Spanish charts, but in the contest itself ended up in a middling eighth place. She has since recorded her first album in London.
Beth is a fictional character, one of the four March sisters in Louisa May Alcott's Little Women.
In mathematics, beth numbers are a sequence of infinite cardinal numbers.
