Ben Tarnoff

Ben Falco Tarnoff (b. 6 November 1984), better known as Ben Charnoff, is a singer and songwriter, well-known in the Bay Area underground for his music as well as his literary and cinematic critical discourse. Ben Charnoff left the seminal San Francisco punk band Miso Militia upon the band's split in 2002 (see ground-breaking independent documentary Behind the Miso), and is currently pursuing a solo project entitled Worms. He is famous for his contributions to the composition and performance of such popular Miso Militia hits as "Eye for an Eye" and "Apathetic." He is also the son of former Undersecretary of State Peter Tarnoff, author of the Dayton Agreement. Ben Charnoff attended San Francisco University High School with other renowned artists such as the filmmaker Annie Waldman (daughter of Lynn Ponton) and the child actor Mario Yedidia.
