Ben Bitdiddle

Ben Bitdiddle is a mythical character used (most famously) in the problem sets for 6.001 at MIT. He considerably predates this class, though, since he was created by Steve Ward for use in problem sets for its predecessor, 6.031, in the 1970s. He has since appeared in a large number of other locations, including other classes as MIT, and at other institutions.
