BelkBelk is a chain of department stores in the American southeast and midwest. As of 2005, Belk, Inc. is the nation's largest privately owned department store organization. Today, the Belk flagship store is 329,000 square feet (31,000 m²) at Charlotte's SouthPark Mall. Belk's main competitors are Dillard's and Hecht's.
