Beijerinck (Crater)Beijerinck is a lunar crater that is located on the far side of the Moon. It lies to the south of the larger Chaplygin crater, and to the northeast of the huge Gagarin walled-plain. The outer rim of this crater is heavily worn and eroded, with several small craterlets lying along the rim. The interior floor, in contrast, is relatively level and unmarked by notable impacts. There is a small central peak at the mid-point of the floor. Satellite craters By convention these features are identified on Lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Beijerinck crater. | idth="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Latitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Longitude | width="25%" style="background:#eeeeee;" |Diameter | | lign="center"|C | align="center"|11.0° S | align="center"|153.7° E | align="center"|20 km | | lign="center"|D | align="center"|12.8° S | align="center"|153.1° E | align="center"|14 km | | lign="center"|H | align="center"|14.2° S | align="center"|153.3° E | align="center"|16 km | | lign="center"|J | align="center"|14.8° S | align="center"|153.7° E | align="center"|40 km | | lign="center"|R | align="center"|14.7° S | align="center"|149.2° E | align="center"|28 km | | lign="center"|S | align="center"|14.2° S | align="center"|147.2° E | align="center"|27 km | | lign="center"|U | align="center"|12.4° S | align="center"|149.0° E | align="center"|18 km | | lign="center"|V | align="center"|12.7° S | align="center"|150.1° E | align="center"|42 km |
