Bedstone

Bedstone is a tiny village and parish (population 85) in the county of Shropshire, England, close to the border with Wales. Its church dates back to Norman times, and some of the houses are more than 600 years old. Bedstone is home to a private boarding school, Bedstone College, which is run by a non-profit educational trust. Famous former pupils include Astronomer Royal Sir Martin Rees, and explorer Monty Halls. Its parish has now been merged with neighbouring Bucknell.
