Bear Creek Corporation

Bear Creek Corporation was founded early in the 20th century, with the purchase of 240 acres (1 km²) of pear orchards in Medford, Oregon. The company is best known for beginning the business of mail-order direct marketing of fruit. This was done through their Harry and David and later Jackson and Perkins brands. The company was also responsible for the creation of "Fruit of the Month" clubs.
