Barlin

Barlin is a chief town of canton of northern France, in the dpartement of Pas-de-Calais, arrondissement of Bthune. It belongs to the agglomeration of the Artois which amalgamates 58 communes, and has a population of 200,000 inhabitants. Population (1999): 7,996 inhabitants for the commune and 18,434 inhabitants for the canton.
