Bardufoss Airfield

Bardufoss Airfield was founded in 1938, and is situated in Troms, in the far north in Norway, just south of Andya Airfield. The airfield is the oldest airfield still operative in the country. From this airfield, two squadrons of helicopters are based: 337. with Lynx MK 86 and 339. with Bell 412SPs. Squadron 339 has been operative here from 1964, and Squadron 337 since 1983.
