Baragan PlainThe Baragan Plain is a plain in south-central Romania. It's a cereal-growing area; it's also the place where the highest temperature in Romania ever was recorded (44.5 C, at Ion Sion). It was the place where people were deported by the Communist authorities during the 1950s.
