Bancomat

Bancomat is the term used to refer to automatic teller machines in continental Europe. It is used in Western Europe, and in some parts of Eastern Europe, although in Eastern Europe, the term ATM is used as well. Its use is preferred over ATM in some countries due to the fact that ATM has no convenient acronym expansion in the local language, while terms similar to bancomat, such as bank, banca, and banque, exist in many European languages.
