BanawaThe Banawa (Banaw) are an indigenous group of just seventy people 1994, living along the Banaw River in the Amazonas province of Brazil, where they are concentrated in a single village and two smaller settlements containing a single extended family each. The Banaw, who call themselves Kitiya, speak an Arawak language.
